- Understand each and every relevant business and technical requirement.
- Produce clean, well-tested, readable, and quality code.
- Ensure optimal performance by monitoring and resolving issues as quickly as possible.
- Cooperate with the Content and SEO Team in developing high-performing and engaging websites that will encourage visitors to spend time on the site.
- Identify and develop new features and products in collaboration with other team members.
- Help drive technology development with your colleagues.
- Take part in various Agile development techniques and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of experience developing WordPress themes, plugins and websites.
- Experienced in server maintenance as well as WordPress design, architecture and deployment strategies.
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3/LeSS/Sass /XML/JSON/PHP/MySQL/JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with Bootstrap or similar frameworks.
- Technical SEO development knowledge and best practices..
- Working knowledge of cross-browser/device development techniques.
- Time management skills and the ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Up-to-date knowledge of upcoming technologies and WordPress standards.
- Experience with troubleshooting performance and plugin issues.
- Familiar with UX, front-end, and web design coding principles.
- Experience with Google PageSpeed Insights to earn 90+ score.
